ParentCast: Episode 15 - Dental Health Tips For Babies And Toddlers

Monday, June 9, 2014

Tall Mom and Tall Dad return for episode 15 of ParentCast to talk all about dental health for babies and toddlers with Dr. Mary Jane Miranda of SouthCoast Smiles and Perfect Smiles.

Dr. Miranda was very light hearted, warm, and funny during this interview.  She also gave a lot of great pertinent information on when, and how, to start caring for your new child's teeth!  Tall Dad and I quickly realized that we are pretty much doing everything wrong. In this episode you'll learn why Rhys is a huge fan of salad bars at the supermarket and when you should start bringing your baby to the dentist & how to best care for their teeth as they get older.  You'll also learn about the one thing Blake hates more than dentists and why Mary has made one small step for mankind Neil Armstrong style.

Tall Dad and I really have no idea what to do about Rhys' teeth.  And as they started coming in, we realized that we needed to learn about how to care for them.  Thus, the idea behind this episode.  It's for parents who have no idea what they are doing, and will receive a baseline knowledge on what to do, and where to begin as it relates to their baby's dental health.  Luckily Dr. Miranda was super patient, and very willing to walk us along her practice.  Have no idea what to do with your kid's teeth?  Check it out here!

Remember, ParentCast is all about being informed, and having a Judgement Free Zone where we can all laugh at each other's mistakes, misfortune, and celebrate our triumphs as parents.  ParentCast is a forum for parents who don't have any idea what they're doing, or even for those who think they know what they're doing, but they really don't.  Best part is, as always, it's free, it's funny, and it's a lot better than therapy!

Do you hate the dentist as much as Tall Dad?

  3. Dental health for Toddlers is a good idea because we all know that it is hard to protect the child from eating the things that are not good for health. A complete dental health program can help us to do it for the kids. A lot of people are suffering from many dental issues and for them I suggest Dental clinic Abroad because they can get better treatment there.

  8. The regularity of your assessments will differ based on your own Dental tips and how well you sustain it. Usually sufferers go for a examine and a S&P every 6 several weeks, some sufferers with gum trouble/disease will likely have to be seen more regularly, and the best sufferers who proper take proper their tooth will have a examine once a season at the very least.
